Booking Terms & Project Guidelines
Thank you for choosing JYE Studio. These terms apply to product photography, product videography, logo design, motion graphics and animation, music and song creation, Shopify website design, and related creative services provided by JYE Studio.
By approving a quotation, paying a deposit, supplying project materials or instructing us to begin work, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
1. Quotations and Project Scope
Each project will be based on a written quotation or confirmed project scope describing the services, deliverables, pricing, revision allowance and estimated schedule.
Quotations are valid for the period stated in the quotation. If no validity period is stated, the quotation will remain valid for 14 calendar days.
Services or deliverables not listed in the confirmed quotation are not included and may require a separate quotation.
2. Booking Confirmation
A project is confirmed only after:
-
The quotation and project scope have been accepted;
-
The required project information has been provided; and
-
Any required deposit or advance payment has been received.
Production dates and project slots are allocated on a first-confirmed basis. An enquiry or unpaid quotation does not reserve a production date.
3. Payment Terms
The required deposit, payment schedule and final balance will be stated in the quotation.
Unless otherwise agreed, the remaining balance must be paid before final high-resolution files, unwatermarked videos, final audio, logo packages or completed website access are released.
JYE Studio may pause work or withhold final delivery if an invoice remains unpaid.
Any bank, payment-processing, courier, application, theme, domain or third-party transaction charges are the client’s responsibility unless included in the quotation.
4. Client Responsibilities
The client must provide complete and accurate information required for the project, including where applicable:
-
Brand and product information;
-
Preferred creative style and references;
-
Required dimensions, duration or aspect ratio;
-
Platform and intended usage;
-
Logo, copy, product details and brand assets;
-
Website content and product information;
-
Required deadline; and
-
One authorised contact person for approvals and feedback.
The client is responsible for ensuring that all supplied names, claims, prices, product information, spelling, contact details and other content are correct.
Delays in supplying information, products, content, access details or approvals may affect the production and delivery schedule.
5. Product Delivery and Collection
For photography and videography projects, products must arrive before the agreed production date.
Products should be clean, complete, assembled where necessary and in suitable condition for filming or photography. Special handling instructions must be provided before the products are delivered.
The client is responsible for delivery, collection, return courier fees and related charges unless otherwise stated in the quotation.
Products that remain uncollected for more than 30 days after completion may be subject to storage charges. JYE Studio may dispose of uncollected low-value items after providing reasonable written notice to the client.
6. Product Care
JYE Studio will take reasonable care when handling products.
However, JYE Studio is not responsible for damage caused by:
-
Inadequate or unsuitable packaging;
-
Courier or delivery handling;
-
Pre-existing damage or defects;
-
Fragile, unstable or perishable materials;
-
Normal handling required for styling or production; or
-
Special risks that were not disclosed before the project.
The client must inform JYE Studio in advance if an item is fragile, valuable, irreplaceable, perishable or requires special handling.
7. Creative Direction and Approval
The project will be developed according to the confirmed brief, references and agreed creative direction.
Creative work involves professional judgement. Exact replication of another creator’s work, reference image, animation, song, website or visual style cannot be guaranteed.
Differences may occur because of lighting, product materials, colour reflections, available props, filming conditions, software, musical arrangement, animation techniques or platform limitations.
When a concept, layout, storyboard, music direction or draft has been approved, substantial changes to the direction may require additional fees and additional production time.
8. Turnaround Time
The estimated production schedule will be provided during quotation or project confirmation.
Turnaround begins only after JYE Studio has received all required products, content, information, approvals, access details and payments.
Delivery dates are estimates unless a fixed deadline is expressly confirmed in writing.
The schedule may be extended if:
-
Products or content arrive late;
-
Information or feedback is incomplete;
-
The project scope changes;
-
Additional revisions are requested;
-
Third-party platforms experience delays;
-
The client does not respond promptly; or
-
Circumstances outside JYE Studio’s reasonable control occur.
9. Feedback and Revisions
The number and type of revisions included will be stated in the quotation.
Feedback should be clear, consolidated and provided by one authorised representative. Separate or conflicting feedback may be treated as additional revision work.
Minor revisions may include reasonable adjustments to colour, brightness, cropping, wording, timing, layout, volume or other details within the approved direction.
The following are generally not considered minor revisions:
-
A new creative direction;
-
A new concept after a concept has been selected;
-
Reshooting or refilming;
-
New scenes, products or deliverables;
-
Major animation changes;
-
Rewriting approved copy or lyrics;
-
Replacing approved music;
-
Rebuilding approved website layouts; or
-
Changes caused by incorrect information supplied by the client.
Additional revisions will be quoted before work continues.
10. Additional Work and Charges
Additional charges may apply for:
-
Extra products, images, scenes, pages or deliverables;
-
Urgent or priority production;
-
Additional revisions;
-
Reshoots or rebuilding caused by client-requested changes;
-
Complex styling, special props or custom sets;
-
Product cleaning, preparation or assembly;
-
Additional file sizes, durations or platform versions;
-
Advanced retouching, sound design or animation;
-
Copywriting, voice-over, singers or custom illustration;

Additional website functions, applications or coding;
-
Courier, collection or return delivery; and
-
Work outside the confirmed quotation.
Any additional charges will be communicated before the additional work proceeds.
11. Rescheduling and Cancellation
Requests to reschedule must be made as early as possible and are subject to availability and work already completed.
Cancellations, refunds, rescheduling charges and payments for completed work will be handled according to the confirmed quotation and JYE Studio’s published Cancellation Policy.
If a project is cancelled after planning, creative development, product handling, styling, design or production has begun, the client may be charged for the work and expenses already incurred.
12. Project Inactivity
If the client does not provide required information, feedback or approval for 30 consecutive days, JYE Studio may place the project on hold.
A revised schedule may be required when the project resumes. If resources must be reassigned or previous work must be reviewed again, a restart fee may apply.
Projects inactive for more than 60 days may be treated as closed. Any restart will be subject to availability and a revised quotation.
13. Final Delivery and File Storage
Final deliverables will be provided through an online download link, email, Shopify access or another agreed method.
Clients should download, inspect and securely store all files promptly.
Unless otherwise agreed, JYE Studio is not required to retain completed project files, source files or client-supplied materials permanently. Project files may be deleted 30 days after final delivery.
Raw photographs, unedited footage, editable design files, working animation projects, music project sessions, unused logo concepts and website-development files are not included unless specifically stated in the quotation.
14. Ownership and Usage Rights
Usage rights apply only after full payment has been received.
The client may use the final approved deliverables for the business, platforms and purposes stated in the confirmed project scope.
For logo-design projects, the client receives exclusive business use of the final approved logo after full payment. Unselected concepts, drafts and development materials remain the property of JYE Studio.
For music and song projects, the permitted commercial usage, platforms, duration and exclusivity will follow the confirmed quotation. Any third-party samples, instruments, voices or assets remain subject to their respective licences.
For website projects, the client retains ownership of their supplied content and brand materials. Shopify themes, applications, fonts, stock assets, code libraries and other third-party components remain subject to their original licences.
JYE Studio retains ownership of its production methods, templates, working files, unused concepts and pre-existing materials.
15. Portfolio Use and Confidentiality
Unless confidentiality is agreed in writing before production begins, JYE Studio may display selected completed work on its website, portfolio, social media, advertising and promotional materials.
Confidential or unreleased projects will not be intentionally published before an agreed launch date.
Clients who require a non-disclosure agreement or complete portfolio exclusion must inform JYE Studio before accepting the quotation. Additional conditions may apply.
16. Client-Supplied Materials
The client confirms that they have permission to provide and use all logos, photographs, footage, music, lyrics, fonts, product claims, trademarks, copy and other materials supplied to JYE Studio.
The client is responsible for claims arising from materials, instructions or information they supplied without the necessary permission.
JYE Studio will not knowingly reproduce copyrighted work or another brand’s creative material in a way that may cause infringement or confusion.
17. Third-Party and AI-Assisted Tools
Where suitable, JYE Studio may use professional software, licensed stock assets, royalty-free music, generative or AI-assisted tools, Shopify themes, applications and other third-party services during production.
Third-party platforms and tools may impose their own licences, technical limitations, availability conditions or subscription fees.
JYE Studio will make reasonable efforts to ensure that final deliverables are appropriate for the agreed use but cannot guarantee that third-party platforms will remain continuously available or unchanged.
18. Shopify Website Projects
For Shopify website projects, the client is responsible for:
-
Maintaining an active Shopify subscription;
-
Purchasing and renewing the domain;
-
Paying for selected themes and applications;
-
Providing accurate product, pricing, shipping and policy information;
-
Maintaining required business licences and legal policies;
-
Managing orders, payments, refunds and customer service; and
-
Keeping account credentials secure after handover.
JYE Studio does not guarantee a particular level of sales, traffic, search ranking or business performance.
Post-launch support, maintenance, product uploads and future website changes are included only if stated in the quotation.
19. Personal Information
JYE Studio may collect contact details, project information, business information and other data reasonably required to provide the requested services.
This information will be used for communication, quotation, production, invoicing and project administration in accordance with JYE Studio’s Privacy Policy and applicable Singapore data-protection requirements.
Clients should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal information.
20. Limitation of Liability
JYE Studio will use reasonable care and professional effort when providing the agreed services.
To the extent permitted by law, JYE Studio’s total liability relating to a project will not exceed the amount paid for the affected service.
JYE Studio is not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, missed sales, platform interruptions, loss of data, third-party service failures or consequences arising from inaccurate client-supplied information.
Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Singapore law.
21. Events Outside Reasonable Control
JYE Studio will not be responsible for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control, including illness, accidents, equipment failure, transport disruption, power or internet outages, severe weather, government restrictions or third-party platform failures.
Where possible, JYE Studio will inform the client and propose a revised schedule.
